Created at the Vanderheyden cheese dairy in Pepinster, Boû d’Fagne is a local cheese made from pasteurized cow’s milk. It draws its inspiration from the wet moors of the Haute Fagne region. Always fully matured, Boû d’Fagne combines strength and smoothness. Its washed rind gives it real character. Its homogeneous, supple and unctuous texture is very pleasant on the palate.
This cheese is part of the Fagne range, along with Fleur de Fagne and Trou d’Sottay. They’re well worth a detour, and a good choice for a cheese dinner with friends.
