To find out more
L’Exquis Herve Piquant belongs to the family of soft, washed-rind cheeses. This means regular ripening, as each cheese is washed and turned several times over a period of 8 weeks.
Herve cheese has been admired by cheese lovers since the Middle Ages. Its square shape, orange color and typical aroma characterize an authentic cheese, inseparable from the region that gave birth to it: the Pays de Herve.
Traditionally, Herve cheese is eaten on a slice of bread with Liège syrup, accompanied by a cup of coffee. Today, Herve cheese is increasingly being used in simple and surprising recipes, because once cooked, its powerful taste softens to make us melt with pleasure!
